Creative Community Conversation (afternoon session)

The City of West Hollywood invites YOU to help shape the cultural experiences WeHo will develop for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games! How will we honor the Olympic spirit while showcasing West Hollywood’s rich diversity and creative talent? Help inspire an arts tradition that reflects our city’s spirit and will resonate for years to come. Co-create a concept designed to connect our community's priorities and elevate the Games in West Hollywood.

Artists, arts organizations, art galleries, music venues and theatres, are invited to talk about a West Hollywood Art Project to celebrate the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Art Project could take the form of arts and cultural events, experiences, and/or activity leading up to and during the Games.

To guide our outreach, the city has partnered with AEA Consulting to host the session to capture valued feedback from our community. Our Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission has adopted a theme, Inventing Traditions, to guide the outreach discussions. The theme offers endless possibilities for interdisciplinary artists, organizations, culinary, design, and fashion talents to contribute to a shared artistic vision.

We value your unique insights and expertise in this process! These sessions are part of a broader series of community engagements happening November 2024 through February 2025, designed to gather diverse perspectives and ideas from across the arts community. Your voice is essential to this effort.
